Good luck to them on the move and i don't blame them. The feelings and emotions involving envy, bitterness, greed and suspicion is turning England into a Daily Mail toilet. It's being poisoned by a racist middle England jealously guarding their unearned house price gains like evil leprechauns on a pot of gold.

I quite enjoyed learning German grammar at school, contrary to other people's experiences, as it had a kind of mathematical logic to it which i liked. I found Spanish far more difficult to learn.

They sounded like whining idiots to me talking about the 'fraught' process of moving like they were being force marched somewhere.

When mr 'senior position' architect gets to Germany and finds out that he hasn't gone to the right school or got anything like the qualifications he needs compared to his German colleagues for the same job he will soon learn which is the land of greater opportunity. Maybe he will visit a work site to see the disorder that regularly happens on sites that mix German workers with recent migrants. I have seen the swastikas myself scrawled all over site toilet walls these days.

Perhaps stay-at-home Mumbo Gerry will be able to return to a Bauhaus influenced minimalist home and get some tidying up done instead of going out playing games and nattering at her voluntary 'community group'. V

She won't be able to keep a pig sty like that in Germany without eliciting comments and her obese child is likely to get plenty of attention from the authorities who will probably put her on the at risk register.

Despite all the money, success and superiority, you don't sound like a happy or content man, exiled old bean.

He actually sounds a total shit. And the other one, his spiritual twin, sounds like a bloke with too much fucking time on his hands.

...he will soon learn which is the land of greater opportunity.

Anybody can pitch up here, say they're an architect and get a job. Even if they can't sharpen a pencil.

I'm fine - happy as I have ever been - loving life

Only thing that gets me down is opening the news and reading / hearing idiots like this.

How fucking great for you. There are quite a few people with more important problems to "get them down'. And no, they can't all become entrepreneurs to solve them.

Happiness is wanting what you've already got and knowing yourself.

Apparently we are now 23rd in the world in terms of happiness and our kids are worse off.

Kids in Albania, Romania, and Columbia are all more happy than our own kids.

Still we are about to put money into mindfulness classes for kids. I think the idea must be to get them happy enough to finally go and visit granny and give her some family care in lieu of the money we have just wasted on hippy meditation...?

Happiness is wanting what you've already got and knowing yourself.

And being 'umbly grateful for the hand that God has dealt you, guv.

Nowt to do with that.

You wouldn't have bought my hand at any price mate.

I sit and watch people pass up opportunity and risk everyday - only a handful have the kahunas to do anything about it - but be assured almost 100% just like you seem to have highly developed sense of why things are 'unfair'.

I have a highly developed sense of what's unfair. I can moan with the best of them, but moaning doesn't achieve anything.

All the opportunities I've let pass by I did in the full knowledge of what I had to give up to get them.

A family returns to Germany because they think post-Brexit Britain won't be worth living in. Really, the BBC is scrapping the bottom of the barrel. Although the couple could be followed by the Scots, the Northern Irish and possibly Gibraltar.

Still there's the faintest of chances that Theresa May will invoke article 50 and manage to keep us in the EU. As we all know there's many a slip between lip and cup. Especially when you have a Tory Prime Minister protecting the interests of big business.

It seems Nick Griffin is joining them. Although he's going to Hungary, allegedly.

He will feel right at home and can visit the refugees at their homes in containers.
