Amazingly, almost every Scot I have ever known has proclaimed themselves as very proud to be Socialists, as in 'we are the people', yet they're clamouring to stay under the capitalist umbrella of the EU, the champions of zero hours and cheap migrant labour.

You forgot massive youth unemployment, the loss of national identity, shared social values and creeping theocracy...

I remember being told by an old bloke at work that joining the common market would be a one way street, as the French and Germans would operate a tacit embargo on British goods to protect their own economies.

He was right, and it's been downhill ever since.

You are one of the blokes who will point to British Leyland as what's wrong with state enterprises and you then blame Germans/French for not buying them as an 'embargo'. And none of tat the fault of our superiority complex because of wars we have won. Now we undertake jointly building world class airliners and decent cars under foreign management and even reach for the stars as part of the EU. But now we want to go back behind the drawbridge, suffer financially and still not keep the wogs out of our country.

SOMEONE ACTUALLY WROTE THIS:Yes,I can see them deciding to fly planes into buildings in a country which didn't exist at the time of the fall of Jerusalem centies later because of the 70,000 killed then.

I'll answer your hopeless rant later when I have time, if I can be arsed.

If I said anything untrue, please point it out. And if you can't be bothered, I may be able to soldier on.

The saved your life?

Good - how well did they do that then, costs, time, hours spent, number of staff, mistakes, corrections, delays, everything right first time.

How did it compare to even a UK reference for your condition?

Costs; probably a seven-figure sum, time; six months, hours spent; hundreds (including thirteen operations , one twelve hours, a further one ten hours), number of staff; very many including two highly specialized surgical teams for the two major operations, mistakes; none, delays; none apart from taking too long on the day of release, everything right first time; indeed. Aside from the mush they pass off as food I have no complaints as my treatment was first class. Some staff shouldn't be in the job, but the SAME as ANY other profession. Your questions answered, one for you now. When you claim that all that was built was a big Chinese restaurant, you're in error, do you agree? ScotlandDiamonds 9

How did you cope/pass the time with being in bed for six months? Or were you not in a state for this to be a problem?

The longest I've been incapacitated was around a week - there's only so much anyone can lay still reading/watching tv/listening to music etc and I'm interested in how many cope with the challenge of doing it for long periods of time.

Old Krankie, political opportunism in the extreme, no different to Easter 1916, we should deal with it in the same way, RAUS.

Fuck the short term we will build a 1000 year Hull City Reich

You wait until you've got arthritis in your right shoulder, chinky, you won't be able to do your salute then.

So now idea at all how good it was just the reference of a monopoly provider.

Yes I was making a point about the relative 'development of hull' in the period of the high and mighty of Labour being in high power. Compare and contrast that with someone like Hazel Blears and Salford.

Now your well you should get out more and get some glasses.

Hull is the only northern city I am invested in where we have made a loss for a solid 15 years. Only keep my interest in to protect jobs.

Do you mean Hazel "five-a-day" Blears? You're the only 'lard to have forgiven her for that Socialist nonsense. I believe she also had a little help from central governments re Manchester's rise and rise to the Milan of the North. Moving Hull to a more central position would have helped it development.

As to running a loss to save employment; WRONG. There are dozens of jobs for those made redundant and you would have more money to invest in a non-failing area. (Advice given freely, of course.)

She is also an expenses fiddler, but Salford is still in Greater Manchester.
