Sickie culture

Good news but the pub sec at 8.4 days avg. (source: personnel today) clearly the anchor draggers.

Wonder why?

Simple maths. The answer is partially in the report. The bit that's missing is seen on Britain's streets most days of the week.

How stressful is minding a machine vs. trying to help some suicidal fucker? Not much comparison.

5 days for a PriSec vs. 8.4 days for PubSec. Not a significant difference.

It's fairly easy to power through a bad cold if you are an office worker. Not so easy if you're a mental health nurse/police officer etc.

It's fairly easy to not power through a cold and take a sickie if your manager and indeed their manager is also regularly off sick and no action is therefore likely to be taken.

Amazing how healthy everyone becomes once sick pay is removed, maybe that in itself is all the NHS need in the short term to solve their crisis, 'no sick pay', sorted on 2 fronts, much fewer unhealthy patients and more staff at work.

Its fairly easy to reduce the average number of sick days in the private sector. You employ millions of young Polish workers and voila the number of sick days increase but the average comes down.

You talk as if it were 8 weeks on the sick and not 8 days.

It will come. And as for weekends and paid holidays... What's that shit all about?

You do simplistic like you were born to it, chinky.

Lots of things in life, like football, are simple it's only those pursuing their own agendas, usually to get rich out of it, that make it complex.

Look how simple capital punishment would be for pre-medicated murder, compared to what we now have in place.

I really can't believe you post some of your ideas other than to be controversial. You trust the police implicitly, apart from when you are at a football match. I'm not that sure about them myself.
