the 'lards are absent these days. The NHS dying; too few police to patrol and investigate; prisons, run by the crooks and the inmates, totally out of control; where you can find grammars and faith schools and free schools and academies and academy chains and you can have a text book if you pay up front.

Don't you think they are being responsible by cutting public sector costs to sustainable levels.

With the structural deficit still there even though we are approaching full employment how would you tackle it?

The NHS over spends even in the times of largesse.

How would you balance the books?

Do you really think that hospitals, police, prisons and schools should not be properly funded? If we closed all of them we'd save a fortune.

Nationalise the major companies and use the profits to fund our services.

End PFI immediately.

Introduce a fairer system of taxation.

That would do as a first step.
