What does? The posed picture or the all male billionaire picture? I agree to an extent; women under Thatcher and May. But I think men were worse off under those two as well.

Your obsession with wealth is now expanding to include men too?

Didn't see that coming

I'm not surprised, you're a thick fucker. This "man of the ordinary people" has chosen mainly men and certainly very rich men to help him to look after the poor, struggling masses. He's already trying to make it easier for his rich friends to borrow money openly stating it. How revolutionary.

His mandate gives him carte blanche to do whatever he likes. It has always been given on the understanding that the chosen one will act rationally, but he does not seem a rational man and it's unsure if he will be the president for all Americans and that could lead to big trouble.

It might surprise you to know that I am not a Democrat or a Republican but, unlike the president of the Philippines, his "madness" is likely to affect me directly.

His mandate was won through telling 'ordinary' people that he was going to take on Wall Street for them.

In the last four weeks, he's appointed 3 ex-Goldman Sachs workers into his close circle and now repealing financial laws, set in place by Obama to protect citizens from financial crime, punting and exploitation.

Unlike many liberals trying to save the world, I hope Trump does screw over those who voted for him and it will serve them right.

Doesn't surprise me at all and explains your 'veto of me' outlook on life.

A politician who doesn't do what he says? - let me think we have had one of those before?
The Americans seem to have got EXACTLY what they voted for and I am amazed at the outrage and knicker wetting that is going on globally about it. Do you think May will get tougher and more 'kick ass' as the world lurches towards this type of leadership...

Its the overreaction to years and years of pithy, professional, lying, selling down the river politicos - like many I don't think its the right answer but then I thought the pistols were shit but Joy division that came after were brilliant.

Your total support of this charlatan is very sad. He seems to understand little of how the world he wants might work. His latest threat is "put more American bits in your cars or you'll face big import duties."

The Americans workers haven't got what they voted for but they'll find that out in time. Although Trump appears to be strengthening the left. That is what I would see as the left.

Trump represents another staging post as the post second world war consensus amongst the Western imperialist powers crumbles further. The outrage amongst global leaders is that consensus benefited them. Nobody likes change, especially change they have no control over.

In an uncertain world why would Germany pay more to the US for protection? The sensible answer is they won't, they'll start protecting themselves in alliance with France and possibly, the rest of the EU. Despite what Theresa May says NATO may well be on its last legs. The longer Trump remains in office the more likely the development of a European army is.

As if the stew wasn't spicy enough you then add in economic protectionism and the affect that will have on the world economy. The world economy is stagnating and protectionism will make that worse.

Brexit and the election of Trump are two sides of the same coin. The alienation of large sections of the working class who are no longer believe established politicians have any answers to their problems.

Interesting times.

Without the Sex Pistols there would have been no Joy Division. So the circle of development goes around.

Your last line is what I believe trump is - he is Jody Ramone running a country. It will be colourful entertainment for a while then fizzle out and be replaced soon enough.
